IQ Inc., a software development and consulting company has the following Direct Hire opportunity with a client in downtown Pittsburgh.
Business Analyst Responsibilities
Manage multiple development projects, one or more development teams and application support functions.
Recruit and develop a staff of professionals, lead a team that analyzes organizational needs for application development and interfaces with clients to ensure systems are developed that meet their business requirements.
Requirements
6-12 years overall experience.
5 years implementation and support with Summit FT application along with knowledge of Summit modules and processes. (A Must!)
Knowledgeable with Interest Rate Derivatives, Credit Derivatives and Exchange Traded Derivatives; knowledge of other financial products a plus.
Experience with UNIX and Windows operating systems and with relational databases (Sybase).
Working knowledge of Capability Maturity Model, level 2 and 3 key process areas.
Experience planning, managing and monitoring multiple diverse or complex projects.
Demonstrated accountability and responsibility for processes, team business unit and corporate results.
Effective oral and written communicator who has dealt with technical and business staff.
Customer-service oriented, responsive when serving internal and external customers and skilled in delegation to achieve results.
Experienced problem solver who learns quickly, provides appropriate counsel and is able to garner support from others.
BS, BA or equivalent work experience required; advanced degree or certification beneficial.
