Responsibilites
Part of the Data Team focused on analyzing and preparing conversion data in Oracle inventory module for the ongoing Enterprise Resource Planning implementation of Oracle eBS
Work with process teams, legacy/source system contacts and extract developers to prepare cleansed data files, and provide the files to offshore developers for conversion.
Responsible for facilitating the whole process, and ensures the data quality is in place before data gets loaded to the target system.
Focus on analyzing and preparing conversion data in Oracle inventory module for the ongoing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementation of Oracle eBS (eBusiness Suite).
Document, program, and implement the rules for data profiling
Conduct workshops with business users, ERP process teams, and legacy extract developers to provide feedback on overall data quality
Format, transform, and consolidate source data slated for conversion according to the specifications created by ERP process teams and in the format expected by automated conversion programs in Oracle
Work with off shore conversion developers, process teams and legacy extract developers to resolve data related issues
Maintain (modify, if required) the Oracle database schema i.e. the database objects, SQL queries and PL/SQL programs to create the data files for inventory related conversions in the required format, based on legacy data and business requirements
Maintenance will require both technical knowledge (SQL and PL/SQL to update the data or program) as well as functional knowledge

Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree
At least 2 years extensive Work Experience in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL
Oracle database 9i, 10g or 11g
Prior work experience in Oracle PTP (Procure to Pay) module is preferable
Ability to clearly communicate both technical and business concepts
