IQ Inc, a software development and consulting company is looking to assist a client with an Oracle Forms & Reports Analyst, for a position near the downtown Pittsburgh area.
Duties
Assist in the maintenance of the current production Oracle Order entry suite of applications, but may occasionally be expected to assist in the development and maintenance of necessary interfaces to store co-mingled legacy and EBS-entered data in the corporate Order entry’s customer and order repositories. This person will lean towards an Analyst but will need this person to code as well.
Primary skills are:
Strong PL/SQL skills preferred.
Developer 2000 ( Oracle Reports 2.5, Oracle Forms 4.5)
MUST HAVE Excellent communication skills
Analyze code quickly and guide developers (very little development work)
Working with older applications of forms/reports, newer versions would be nice, but older versions are critical.

Responsibilities

•          Support various projects to develop Requirements Management (RM) plan

•          Interface with RM and configuration management teams to develop integrated RM & CM workflow activities for assigned project

•          Coordinate and lead initial infrastructure of projects’ documentation hierarchy towards a DOORS-centric architecture

•          Work closely with project manager and their team to ensure good RM practices are being followed; reducing rework

•          Document specific RM workflow steps aligned with departmental policies and procedures

•          Develop working prototypes of DOORS architecture and workflows outlined in an RM plan; providing training to project team for their use

•          Balance technical tasks while supporting project managers schedule milestones

•          Provide training, coaching and/or consultation in various projects on RM process and tool usage and on how to write good requirements

•          Coordinate workshop training session to enhance efficiency of project’s design phase

•          Lead routine meetings with project users to ensure RM plan compliance

•          Develop and report RM-based metrics to project manager

•          Identify, communicate and work with RM team to improve existing RM process and tools

•          Innovate process improvement enhancements to increase quality of work and reduction of rework through out the lifecycle of projects

•          Support various projects/product/platform on importing and requirements management activities in DOORS; including importing and exporting documents, requirements linking, running Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM) reports, etc…  

 

Requirements

•          Knowledgeable and experience of RM practices

•          Well-versed in the DOORS tool (a plus)

•          Knowledgeable of Rational Publishing Engine, Visio, Microsoft Office and Adobe
